Admission Procedure

Procedure for Registration - Registration for fresh admission opens from 27th January of every year. The school prospectus containing registration form is available on payment from the school office. For admission, registration form duly filled must be submitted to the office before the last date of the submission of form.

The fee is neither refundable nor adjustable and is valid only for the specific academic year. Registration of a child is not a guarantee to his admission.


Admission - The Salwan Public School functions on two terminal, and four unit test examination system. The first term examination commences in the month of September and the second term examination is conducted in the month of March.

Basic requirements for Admission - The Admission will be granted after the end of an academic session and before the commencement of new session after proper entrance test.



Rules for Admission & withdrawals.

1. Application for admission should be submitted to the principal of the School. The absolute power for admission lies with the Principal.

2. Those who are interested in seeking admission have to qualify an admission test and face interview before the selection board.

3. For seeking admission in Nursery the child should not be less than 3 years.

4. At the time of admission the transfer certificate issued by the previous school must be produced duly counter signed and selected by the Principal.

5. If the child is withdrawn from school at any time the following rules applying-

A. Every application for a leaving certificate shall be made in writing by the parent/guardian.
B. School leaving certificate will not be issued until all the fees and other dues are paid. Those who are leaving in April will pay the fees for May and June as well.
C. A student leaving in mid-session must pay the fees for that session.
D. Fee will be charged for a transfer certificate and this will be issued only seven days after the receipt of an application.
